June Beauty Favourites

Hawaiian Tropic Protective Sun Spray

I am a big fan of Hawaiian Tropic, mainly because I love the smell of coconut but aside from smelling amazing this spray really is miles ahead of other suncreams. It is really light and non-greasy and feels more like a moisturiser than a suncream. I also love the spray function which works the whole way to the end of the bottle (this is my second bottle this year) and it gives a really even coverage. Hawaiian Tropic can be more expensive than other brands but I have seen some great offers lately and it is half price in Boots at the moment which is a bargain.

Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo

When I went to grab dry shampoo for Glastonbury I couldn't believe how many options there are
these days, it used to be just Batiste and that was it. So again I went for smell; as Aussie have lush smelling shampoos I thought I would grab the Aussie Miracle Dry Shampoo Mega Instant in the small 65ml version (they do a big 180ml version too). It smells so nice and works just like any other dry shampoo where you spray it into your roots, massage it in and then brush it out. There was no icky residue or powdery tell tale signs which was nice! I will definitely be using this over the summer as my hair tends to get greasy much quicker (lovely, I know).

Rimmel London 60 Seconds Super Shine by Rita Ora in Glaston Berry

I LOVE this colour so much! I don't usually buy Rimmel nail polish but the Boots beside my work only has a couple of make up brands and I needed to grab some quickly a few weeks back and this coral shade caught my eye. Then I saw the name 'Glaston Berry' and I knew it was meant to be (if you haven't noticed I was at Glasto last month and clearly can't stop talking about it, apologies!). It is a gorgeous shade, really vibrant and goes on so well. Two coats only take a few minutes so it is perfect for when you need to do your nails on the run. It also lasts really well, so for less than £3 I will definitely be keeping an eye out for more Rimmel nail polishes

Garnier Ambre Solaire After Sun Soothing Lotion

This Ambre Solaire After Sun Soothing Lotion is so light a velvety it doesn't feel like an aftersun at all. I love the fact that it feels cool going on, even if you don't leave it in the fridge like we do, so it really soothes any burn you might have. I suppose that's the Aloe Vera and what ever else they put in it working it's magic. It is lightly fragranced and smells lovely but may not be so great if you are heading off anywhere with mosquitos. Also it has a very slight shimmer to it which I love and looks great with a tan but some people may not be a fan of, B puts it on his bloody face which makes me laugh all night...oh dear!

Simple Kind to Skin Protecting Light Moisturiser

I usually always use Clinique Dramatically Moisturising Lotion but I ran out in June, the only month this year I wasn't flying anywhere, so I needed to grab something to tide me over before I could make it to Duty Free(it is almost half the price in the airport). I have slightly sensitive skin and wanted something with an SPF so Simple's Skin Protecting Light Moisturiser which has SPF15 seemed like a good option, also if it wasn't up to much at less than a fiver I wouldn't take too much heed. After using it for a few weeks now I am so impressed, it is super light, dries really quickly and I haven't had any dry patches or skin problems which is very unusual for me. I think it is good to mix up your skin care routine as your skin becomes complacent so I'll hang onto this for the time being and save myself twenty quid while I do!
